Earth Dragon Canon

Earth Dragon Canon–Walking, Martial Arts, and Self Evolution describes functional practices for the Chinese internal martial art known as Baguazhang (Eight Trigram Palm).

Martial art practice is more than the study of physical movement. This book introduces Bagua and Chinese medicine theories in their historical context. A series of standing and floor exercises stress good internal martial art practice before introducing the circle walking practice of Baguazhang.

The Walking Circle

I started The Walking Circle to share my knowledge about the Internal Martial Arts. I am not a master of these arts, but rather, a student of them. The Internet was invented for scholars to share their work on a global scale. Likewise, The Walking Circle community was designed to make your learning more engaged and interesting, making your practice alive to you.

Look Around

For the first time in months, I can safely say that you can–once again–take a look around thewalkingcircle.com. I am updating all of the Glossary and Timeline entries before importing them into the new site, and the results have been good. It looks even better on the entries I have in front of me tonight, but it will be a couple of days before they move to the live site.
